Jodi and Shannon met each other October 28th, 2009. Believe it or not, they were matched on EHarmony. Jodi invited Shannon to a Halloween party, and the rest is history. Jodi and Shannon were married on October 28th, 2010 where they had a Big Halloween Party. Every year the two challenge each other, to a pumpkin carving contest. As you know they have been upping their carvings every year. If you ask each who is the better carver, you will get two different answers. They both have different styles, that when they work together they carve some awesome pumpkins. Did you know Jodi does not actually grow the giant pumpkins? She watches from a far and lets Shannon do his thing. Unless it is a hail emergency or he is traveling. Shannon has been growing Giant Pumpkins since 2001. He has made a name for himself in the Giant Pumpkin world for growing Big, Beautiful, and Orange pumpkins. His first weigh off in Nekoosa, WI his pumpkin was classified as a squash. He vowed that would never happen again. He has won 12 prestigious Howard Dill Awards.
